Our mission is to inspire creativity and individuality, offering a space where you can truly be yourself, while also committing to sustainability and staying ahead of trends with our own distinct twist.
Creative n' Chaotic is the brainchild of Melina Garcia Ayala, a Spanish artist and designer based in Scotland who’s always believed the fashion world needs more brightness and boldness. While appreciating the allure of dark and pastel styles in many alt-fashion styles, she’s long been drawn to vibrant, joyful designs that better represent her personality and style. Creative n' Chaotic was born to fill this niche, offering products that are as unapologetically colourful as they are unique.

The brand’s sustainability values are a focus in every step. From partnering with UK-based manufacturers for stickers and apparel whenever possible, to using cardboard packaging and repurposed materials for shipping, Melina ensures her creative process aligns with her values. Creative n' Chaotic stands as a testament to individuality, blending artistic expression with a commitment to environmental responsibility.

OUR STORY
Creative n' Chaotic was born from a lifelong passion for art and design. Founded by Spanish artist and designer Melina Garcia Ayala, the brand started as a dream fueled by a love for creativity, self-expression, and alternative fashion.
Her passion for illustration led her to launch her first Kickstarter in 2022—The Cat Café Collection. The success of the campaign proved that there was a space for her designs and a community that enjoyed them. Inspired by other artists and small business owners, she took the leap and brought Creative n' Chaotic to life after finishing her video game development degree.
What started with a single market stall at The Yard Market in Dundee has now grown into an online store, offering bold and vibrant clothing, accessories, and stationery. Though Mel runs the business solo, she occasionally gets a helping hand from friends and family, especially when it comes to packing orders and organizing shop updates.
